Overview

500Ʊ attaches great importance to global education and encourages students to study abroad and participate in international activities.

OpenAI aims to advance artificial intelligence technology and its applications for the benefit of humanity. Their mission involves conducting AI research and developing related technologies. As of October 2024, ChatGPT has gained a user base of over 300 million worldwide, allowing people from various regions to explore the possibilities of AI. During their visit to Japan, leaders from OpenAI’s U.S headquarters will be visiting the University of Tokyo to meet with students and faculty. We are pleased to welcome these leaders part of the Dialogue at 500Ʊ GlobE, attended by President Fujii and other university leaders. They are ready to address various student inquiries, covering topics such as entrepreneurship and the societal impact of AI. Students from all academic backgrounds are encouraged to join!
